SOAR is designed to promote your personal, academic and individual development. Through small group discussions, academic advising and peer counseling, you will be prepared to enter the University informed and confident about your upcoming years at UNC Charlotte. SOAR check-in will begin at 8:00 a.m. in the Student Activity Center (Halton Arena). 

For August 21 session, check in will begin at 7:30am in McKnight Hall.Please do not make non-refundable travel arrangements until you receive a SOAR confirmation from our office indicating which SOAR session you have been assigned. Your SOAR confirmation email sent to your UNC Charlotte email account will include other pertinent information about the overall orientation program.

There is a separate program for parents/family members. Parents/family members will check-in with their student beginning at 8:00am in the same location.
